Welcome to
karin krige studio

Karin  Krige is a mixed media artist, based in South Africa. In her art, she likes to experiment and discover the unexpected, as well as new techniques that are unique and surprising to the media of her choice.

People, history, social issues, philosophy and religion serve as an inexhaustible source of inspiration and subject matter for her art. Making use of the anecdotal and small narratives, thematic exploration often reflects work created in the form of small sequences.
